Suggested Clothing and Equipment List For Student Leaders

 

 

BEDDING
Sleeping bag or three-blankets and sheets
Extra blanket
Pillow and piilow case

CLOTHING
Slippers
Shower thongs
Sturdy shoes
Sturdy boots (waterproof)
5 pairs socks
5 shirts
4 pairs jeans/heavy trousers
Warm jacket
3 sweaters or sweatshirts
6 pairs underwear
Rain coat, hat
Gloves
Shorts

PERSONAL ITEMS
Bath towels (2 or 3)
Hand towel
Wash cloth
Soap and container
Comb and brush
Toothbrush and toothpaste
Lip salve
Facial tissue
Razor
Shampoo and conditioner
Hair Dryer
Sun Screen
Insect Repellent - non-aerosol

Musical instrument

Books with short stories or fairy tales and legends
Posters to decorate the cabin

2 large plastic garbage bags (for dirty clothes)
Letter writing materials and stamps
Small container of soil (1/2 cup) from your home for the soil ceremony
Watch ('This is important!)
Alarm clock

The above items represent a SUGGESTED list for Student Leaders.
Please do not purchase new items just to satisfy the items on the list!
You can borrow items from other people, use old, but clean clothes, buy used boots/rain coats from second-hand stores or thrift shops, etc.

The students will not be allowed to bring radios, radio alarm clocks, CD players, walkmans, comics, card games, gum,
candy, food, money, or pocket knives. Please follow the same guidelines.

responsible for lost or stolen property.
